Planning the Interior

While doing some finishing work that will not be possible after installation

I started some interio planning.
The first step was to recreate the two floor levels in the deck saloon.

This is where the dinette will go

And here is the space the galley. I decided to move the galley to the DS for two reasons.
First this is the place that we shall live more. So moving up and down stairs is not convenient.
Furthermore any activity, during navigation, without outside view is not pleasant.
Second the space of the galley will be given to the master cabin

Cockpit seat finished.

The Bow

The mast step is now welded in place

This is a proposal of modification of the original project.

And this is a major one.
As I have decided that the boat will be a true cutter, yankee and solent, and no >100% genoa, I will need a code-0 for light winds, up to 10-15knts.
The type of bowsprit that you need for this type of sail requires much, much greater strength than a retractable gear.
The second consideration was housing the Rocna33.

So this is a draft of what I will build

This we could not predict!
Snow in Rome and not just a sprinkle, real snow that stayed for more than a week.

Coming Out

The boat is kissed for the first time by the sun!

The view from distance gives a completely different aspect.
We love it!

She fulfills our expectations
