30.1.11 Boat Plans and AlumarYachts
Now after some reassurance from Davide we must proceed.
Two things are needed:
A shop where to build the hull and do the welding
Converting the boat plans in aluminium structures

Here comes AlumarYachts. What is AlumarYachts? It is Robert Christinger. I found out him through Dix site to Odyssey site (Brian Russel building at home a Dix43PH) to AlumarYachts,com.

Brian Russel is an exceptional boat builder. He started his Dix43 PH a couple of years ago. Does it really take that much? He had his NESTED CUTTING FILES made by Robert.

Now what is a cutting file?
Aluminium is bought in plates of 6x2 meters. Out of this you must cut all the small pieces, not so small, that will make up the boat. They must be drawn of a computer software to optimize the use of the plate. Not very much different from the little airplane models that many of us as built as a child. The principle is exactly the same!

Robert ha completely digitalize Dix plans, made a Dx43 PH for himself, and he his offering his assistance to complete this part of the project.
