The keel plates were impossible to shape with our machinery.
So we had to build a wood mockup like Brian did and carry the two thick plates to another shop.
We ally could get the proper curve on the plates and position them.
Now the boat has a keel
Planning ahead: with a friend, a carpenter, we discussed on how to proceed with the woodwork when it will be time

Top Side Plates Part 2
It took a couple of days to complete the port top side plates. These plates are very long and flexible. The total length is 13.27 meters in two pieces.
After placing them side to side we checked the horizontal position with the laser level and the started welding
with the usual technique.
Before placing the plate a little detail on how the stringers connect to the centerline at the boa
And now the second plate goes in position

Bathing Platform Corrections
September 9, 2011
Slow day.
We started correcting the minor error on cutting file on transom.
As I elongated the bathing platform, thie needed to be raised on the DWL and the centerlin elongated.
Also the opening in the transom had to be modified, but it wasn't.
So we have this hole that needs to be corrected. A piece of flange was removed.
Whe shall cut a piece to fill the gap
